1/3/2024 0 Comments Detroit casino table minimums* My companions who play slots (I don't) are convinced that the payouts are at or near the worst they've ever encountered. * Still despite ALL of the above, the place is packed on weekends, and the layout means that even at the tables, you're elbow-to-elbow with both fellow players and passers-by. Servers are possibly the slowest and least-present of any casino I've ever been in. * Ohio prohibits free alcohol, so you have to shell out cash (not even chips) to have a drink. * Even at those high table minimums, the tables are still packed with players who have no concept of odds or basic strategy! So it's really tough to play for a long time and have fun, because the table churn with players intent on losing their bankroll as quickly as possible destroys the vibe. * The cheapest table minimum in the place is $15, and that's hard to find. * If you want comp'd parking even after playing all day, you have to wait in another line for a voucher. * Parking is $25, and there is almost always a line to get into the one entrance to the parking garage - which is across the street from the casino itself. Because if they don't, I literally cannot figure out how they manage to stay jam-packed busy, because there is almost nothing else here to recommend it to anyone looking to have fun at a casino. It's certainly possible that the one and only Cleveland casino manages to pack its floors 24x7 with nothing but compulsive gamblers, bored seniors and clueless twenty-somethings.
