While most players would just cop the yellow and be cautious for the rest of the game, Max decided to do something a bit different. That same day, Redditor Spoxx1 posted the meme to r/dankmemes but replaced the second panel image with an image of someone writing out "four" (shown below, right). For example, Redditor DDO1904 received over 29,400 points (97% upvoted) in a day for their iteration posted to r/dankmemes (shown below, left). On January 8th, Redditors continued to use the format across the site and especially on r/dankmemes. That same day, Redditor JonathanMU posted a rickroll iteration of the format to r/ memes and accumulated over 15,600 points (97% upvoted) in a day (shown below, right). The first use of the UNO reverse card as a meme can be traced back to April 18th, 2018, when Urban Dictionary user Coolkid8761 defined it as an upgraded no u. On January 8th, Instagram user meme_appetit posted the image with the instruction "Watch Tasty Video or Draw 25" in the wild card and gained over 19,100 likes in a day (shown below, left). The card was first introduced in the 1971 version of UNO, and has remained a part of the game ever since. On January 5th, Redditor Scaulbylausis repost Twitter user image to r/blursed which received over 13,100 points (98% upvoted) in four days. On January 5th, 2020, Twitter user reposted the two images with the wild card reading, "call/text your recent ex or Draw 25." The Tweet gained over 353,500 likes and 113,300 retweets in four days.
